| We Got This Garden Clean UpThe temperature is rising on 9th and Ring and before we know it, dozens of young men will congregate at The We Got This Community Garden at 8 am on Saturday mornings to serve, grow, and garden. Before that happens, there is a ton of prep work that needs to take place to ensure our young leaders have a clean and properly prepared space to work and learn. In order to do so, we are opening the 10th season at We Got This on May 7th and holding a garden and neighborhood cleanup. From 10 am to 2 pm, we will work on cleaning up the surrounding community, preparing the garden beds around the property, and doing our first wave of planting. If you are interested in joining us feel free to stop by and grab a shovel or a garbage bag anytime between 10 am and 2 pm on May 7th on the corner of 9th and Ring. We are also looking to gather plants for the upcoming growing season and will gladly take plant donations during that or any other time.
